    MY CHRISTMAS POEM

    WRITTEN ON DEC. 8, 2009

    BY: FALLON MOUTON

HERE IS TO THE ONE WE LOVE AND MISS

THE ONE WE CAN’T PUT ON OUR CHRISTMAS LIST

THE ONE WE CAN’T HOLD ON CHRISTMAS EVE NIGHT

THE ONE WE LOST FOR UNKNOWN REASON THE LONG DARK NIGHT

THE ONE WE CAN’T MAKE NEW MEMORIES WITH THE CHRISTMAS SEASON

THE ONE THAT WILL BRING A CHRISTMAS TEAR

THE ONE THAT WE WILL CARRY THROUGH OUT THE WHOLE YEAR

THE ONE WE CAN NEVER REPLACE

THE ONE THAT BROUGHT SO MANY SMILES TO SO MANY PEOPLES FACE

CHRISTMAS IS SUPPOSE TO BE A TIME FOR REJOCING AND JOY

SO YOU KNOW ON CHRISTMAS MORNING I WILL BE MISSING MY LITTLE BOY

THEY SAY IT SUPPOSE TO GET EASIER WITH TIME THAT GOES BY

SO HOW COME WHEN I THINK ABOUT CHRISTMAS I JUST BREAK DOWN AND CRY

I KNOW HE IS IN A BETTER PLACE

SO THIS CHRISTMAS I WILL TRY TO CRY WITH A SMILE ON MY FACE

ALTHOUGH GOD TOOK YOU FOR A REASON

IT WILL TRULT HURT US THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON

ALL THE CHRISTMAS TEARS WILL COME FROM MISSING YOU

BUT I WILL REJOICE THE MEMORIES WE HAVE AND ALWAYS WILL

THIS YEAR THERE WILL BE NO PRESENTS FOR YOU UNDER THE TREE BUT IN MY HEART YOU WAS THE PERSENT FOR ME.

SHANE YOU ARE TRULY MISSED BY ALL!!!!!!!

    I LOVE YOU SON

That is truly beautiful and touching; so much so it brought tears to my eyes. Having a son I cannot imagine life without him, as he has become so much a part of it. My mother lost her only son in 1976 at the age of 15. If I may ask, what happened to your son? I wish all the best of the Lord’s prayers. Blessed be.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
