City fly-by's
Even now, when I never hear you nameall the places and the faces
Flash by my hollow eyes
All I remember is your voice,
The way you said my name
And laughed at all the stupid jokes,
Even now, when everything has changed
I still remember you, the way your
Eyes would crinkle at the sides
So sitting in another city
One we planned to see together
I write a poem, a story or a song
So I remember why I'm running
Time passes me by and hour by hour
I long for yet another sky
Maybe one more cities light
Maybe then I'll have had enough
So I keep running, hoping I can rest
Forget all that I remember
Forget I ever love you
