    Clarity

I see you in a different light; your true colors came out late Monday night.
I used to respect you – thought I saw something – good and kind in your smile.
Turns out it’s only a mask – hiding anger, hatred and bile.
I thought I saw the light of the spirit dwelling in your eyes - that too only a disguise.
You are filled with anger, prejudice, and hatred all the devils tools.
Yes – you really had a lot of us fooled.

One thing is certainly true – Christ always knows your heart.
    And now we do too!
For deep in the heart starts the seed of sin.
But, it only grows if you let it out into the world of men.
You’ve let yours’ out – where will it go.
Will you ask for forgiveness (kill it) or let it fester and grow?

When you leave here what will you take away?
We are given many choices each and every day.

Anger, hatred, prejudices, and violence just to name a few.
But, tolerance, love, patience, gentleness and compassion can start here just because of you.

Which do you choose – which way do you win?
    Which way do you lose?

God cannot dwell in a heart filled with hate.
Can you fill yours’ with love again before it’s too late?
