Memories bring jaded ice picks,
Misconstrued images of a sour existence,
Despair laughs in your face,
Waves of agony attempt to slowly drown you in a pool of self pity,
Just a single breath is a challenge,
Anxiety rears its ugly head,
The shadows seem somewhat darker,
Loneliness cuts deep as the night thickens,
So fucking sick of being alone in this bleak and repetitive life,
It makes you want to jump out of your skin and scream in horror,
Heart impaled with rusty blade,
A life so riddled with bad choices, suffering, and bumpy roads,
Try and concentrate on the presence,
Pick up the past and the future and blow them out of your hand like sand to the wind,
Focus on the bigger picture,
Be grateful for what you do have,
You must dig deep and see how wonderful you are,
Just as I see you,
You are a beautiful person inside and out,
You can love yourself,
You have angels and guides to help you,
I will do my part and surround you with positive energy until the negativity and depression is muffled out,
You will resurge and rise from these teachings of the soul,
You are not alone,
Your Spirit is always with you,
And I am by your side to hold your hand,
