    Poem Commentary

    I was thinking about how my favorite colors have changed over the years, and thought that I could build some poetry around them. So I did.

    Colors of my Life

     First came blue
    A bright happy color
    In times of peace
    And quiet joy

    Then black shadows
    In lands corrupted
    By wicked men
    And evil hearts

    The red of flame
    Cleansing the darkness
    Come to fight
    And make new ways

    Finally, white emerges
    From the ashes
    Pure and beautiful
    The world is peaceful
