    • Well everyone, three weeks and Im gonna be the father of a baby boy. Words cant describe how excited I am. Also a little scared. Ive posted a song that Im workin on let me know how you like it.

    Poem Commentary

    I wrote this poem a couple of years back. just a little insight to what makes me tick.

    Colors

                                           Colors


                            Red is the color of bloodshed
                             Blue is the color of tears
                           White is the color of bravery
                           displayed throughout the years

                               So many soldiers fought
                            with honor courage and pride
                            and for their strong beliefs
                               so many soldiers died

                                 I am now a soldier
                                 in a foreign land
                          and for beliefs that i hold true
                               I too will make a stand

                         I'll try to fill their combat boots
                                and keep my eyes upon
                             those beautiful three colors
                              this country was built on

    thank you for the comment, and thank you for the support. I know ive been slackin, havent posted any poems for a while. just really kinda hectic here lately. i am out of the army now, after 9 long years. so hopefully ill have more time to write.
