    I'm looking for love, taking a stand to find a companion or even a friend.

    Come quickly

    to love you or to hate you
    I can not decided
    to leave or to keep you right by my side
    to want not or to need you I can't decide
    but to say I don't care would be a bold lie.

    To ask or to ponder
    to seek or to find
    to long for a love that I can call mine

    where are you my loved one my darling dear boy
    the day that I find you shall fill me with joy
    but if you should wait oh please come I pray
    for its true that I love you and if you should stay
    and if you should never pass my way well that is the day that I die.

    Longing for love and yet wondering if all of us will find it someday... uncertainty... I felt the beat of the words with each line you shared.

    Tarlton, It's nice to see somebody sticking to a rhyme scheme these days. I think many consider it old fashioned... But I. for one, find it reassuring.

    I like rhyme it is old fashion but it set a kind of sway to the poem so that it moves along, I also like discriptive poetry I often try and blend the too, thought I would not say that I am the best at it by any means.

    Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
