     Come take My Hand 

    There is an empty room that was once full of laughter
    The imprint of your face upon the pillowcase
    There is an empty chair at the table 
    It is hard to carry on now that you are gone

    I feel the void each time I look around
    Your smile nowhere to be found 
    A chill runs down my spine when each time I dine
    Into a world, we once shared in time 

    The glow in your eyes were glimpses of paradise 
    In my heart, you wait with an outreached hand
    Yet the silence in our home I can barely  stand
    I bide my time and listen for the words

    When I hear you say come take my hand
