When you're in sadness and clouds envelop your mind,
You can find comfort in these words so true and kind,
Fret not yourself for friends or lovers lost,
Pray to God for wisdom as you contemplate the cost.

Men have built your hopes up and in them you'll confide,
Never place your trust and hope in tests, they'll leave your side,
Seek wisdom from the Lord, He'll lead and let you know,
In sadness he'll bring happiness by soothing all your blows.

Heartbreak pains and sorrows for a lovedone lost,
Seek prayer, vision, confidence and perception at no cost,
He'll help you find real happiness and to reach life's goals,
His arm of comfort is so sweet and soothing to the soul.

It's ok to cry, express emotions, but do not fret my friend,
Place your life in His wonderful arms for sorrows he will mend,
God's loving arms is comforting and gentle, your trust is not in vain,
He'll give you the understanding why you're bearing pain.

He'll repair your heart,
Though it's all torn apart,
Giving you knowledge to find the way,
When lost and lonely anytime of day,
The clarity to know what to do,
His loving, enduring presence watches over you.
