     You tell me in a comment to get help? You have no room to speak you two bit hack and degenerate plague of the education system. I never compared myself to the greats. Are you so blind in your pride that you couldnt see it was a reference? Wow, love how you are so willing to tell me about ego in any form. My poems may not be the greatest, I never said they were. But you saying you could be a Keats or whoever?!HA! My help came in writing after my wife died in 2005! you wanna tell people how write and be a degenerate has been? save it old man, our language has evolved in many ways from your hay day from when the wheel was first invented. If any form of abomination has been found on this site, it would be you friend. Not any of us who need to spell check or proof read. This is a gathering of the minds. So maybe you should pull your head out of your arse see how bad your dung smells.

    thought-provoking write ... "gathering of the minds" is what i appreciate most about this site ... technical minds and literary minds and philosophical, spiritual, emotional minds :) so many approaches ... tho i usually offer a technical critique only if it's requested ... i've had a few comments that were ... lol ... annoying ... which usually gives me some insight about myself ... :) ty for a great post!

    Yeah...Frankly it made me mad when someone made a correction of grammar to me because I consider it trivial but I realize lately that getting a correction is not always bad because somehow it made our works becomes better, but yeah it is something of the approach too. If you want to correct someone made sure that your approach is not offensive to the writer..,It's just For me what I like in reading my poem for the reader is to feel the idea that I wanted to share...

    Vamp- Seems like you may have been bitten by "RH Peat"? Just curious if this is the old man you are reffering to? He is known to be harsh. But, some people enjoy his critique.They are usually looking to him to improve their writing skills. He is obviously a master of the English language and tries to encourage us to be aware of our errors thru the comments that he leaves. Now, whether that is right or wrong, I really can't say. I suppose it all depends on what the individual who posts a poem here is looking for. Don't get me wrong, but I myself, don't mind a negative comment, as long as it is constructive. However, I'd rather it be about the subject and flow of the poem, rather than be about my grammatic inabilities. I agree that this forum is a gathering of the minds But, All types are welcome. If you receive a comment that offends you, may I suggest, replying to it and ask that they no longer read or rate your poetry, because you do not value their critique. If they continue - then report them as inappropriate, maybe this will stop this from reoccurring? Good luck. and keep writing.

    omg, I feel the same way too, when people comment on my poems, I mean poems are your own expressions and feeling so let me write my poem how I feel it should be. this is very inpirational, I hope others read this.
