Comming Full Circle

Coming Full Circle

Act I

It’s early in the morning moms gotta go to work, so she goes in the room to give Jr. a little jerk.

Boy it’s time to get up you gotta get ready for school, cause mom’s working hard and she ain’t about to raise no fool.

Living in the here and now, he can’t see why he should. Go to school, uh un, Jr. don’t know no good.

He’s a little naive, so he can’t see, that when it comes to your dreams education is the key.

Okay ya’ll mama’s about to come out we gone be quiet you see, there is more time later for conversations between you and me.

Act II

Don’t wanna be a lame no’mo. Jr. didn’t go to school and that’s for sho. He doesn’t realize the magnitude of his decision, and when he gets older he’ll have to live with the consequences.

In his mind he’s gone do what makes him happy. That’s why instead of school he went to go find daddy. Daddy’s alright he’s living on top of the world, I aint about to listen to the rant and raving of my ol’girl.

Daddy’s doing his thing, you know, selling them drugs. Poisoning his people for nics and dubs. He’s the guy on the street that your children want to be, He’s the man with supply to make people want to fly, He’s the one ultimate healer and yeah Jr.’s daddy is a dealer.

Act III

Oh can mama scream and shout, and after it all Jr. sneaks out. Life gives us trials and troubles; it puts our heart through tests. I know ya’ll can see, that Jr. is in a battle between the spirit and the flesh.

We all know that you don’t live to eat, but eat to live, and there is special nourishment that only the word can give. If you skip a few meals you may become a little weak, but if you take it completely out of your diet then well….. Let’s just watch Jr. and see.

Act IV

Your gonna see what happens to his dreams, and see if he lived up to his potential and realized his destiny. There were some days Jr. didn’t go to school and that without a doubt. What ultimately happened is that he dropped out.

You shouldn’t judge aabook by its cover, and don’t judge your life by another. Dreams of being like daddy were at his best. Now in reality there is homelessness on his chest.

The absent parent is the superficial hero, they are held in the highest esteem no matter what you do though. Its not about you and the love and support you give. Its about what’s missing in the heart and mind of the child, wanting to be with the parent, with whom he does not live.

You’ll wanna do better and try to get a job, but if you are not properly prepared you’ll get a no instead of a nod. Gotta get in good with the man, and study his plan, and understand the life he wants you to lead upon this land. Jr. didn’t do right, he didn’t do what he should, and yes Mr. Jr. don’t know no good.

Act V

Education is important and we need to lay a foundation for our children to follow. If it is not properly and skillfully laid the foundation will become hollow. Accountability needs to be accepted and consumed. We need to accept responsibility now or our children’ future is definitely doomed.

Our God has already laid out a map, and want us to live according to his plan. Not immerse ourselves in the desires of man. We need to realize our potential and accept our true destinies. I believe in me and the person standing next to me. You are not alone, you have plenty of sisters and brothers, and we are all neighbors. My father told me to love thy neighbor as thy love thy self. And I love me some April.

If you can dream it you can achieve it. I’m gonna live you with a quote that always gives me some hope. Because if I’m gonna live by a creed, I’m gonna live by my own creed. I believe “Destinies are Dreams, and Dreams are Destinies. And If you dare to Dream you are visualizing your Destiny.

Thank you.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
