  • To achieve success in anything you need to start with a dream. Know your dream. Know why you are doing what you are doing. Create the fire that's needed to connect you with your dream. Create the passion you need in your pursuit of success. Create a desire to reach your achievements. Success can be yours if you have the courage to try..May your wishes all come true and they can it's all up to you

Computer Savvy

My Little Black Box is Gone

At my age who would have thought that I would place so much value on a little black case.

Four years ago a friend of mine asked  if I had a computer at home and I replied no that's to fast of a pace.

I don't need a gadget to help me get bye but maybe someday out of curiosity I'll give it a try.

My friend said you won't believe all the things you can do browse the internet and learn how to fly.

So I bought a Micron lap top to see what was so great and found out much more then I could anticipate.

The things you can do if you know how to are astronomical and can redirect your destiny and fate.

At first I had problems you wouldn't believe and I tried all the repairs that you can conceive.

Things like millinium, XP, Front Page, Net World, MSN, Adobe, FTP's and HTLM really had me deceived.

As time went on I learn to fix all these things and my computer became the answer to my dreams.

I have online businesses, do my banking and pay my bills, and even write stories, poetry, and themes.

I learned all these things on my little black box (My Micron) and now my little black box is gone. Just  a memory on an empty desk top where it use to be.

Computer Freak

I think I've become a real computer freak.

I sit at my keyboard and use my fingers to speak.

I browse the Internet looking for things to do.

I go to my email and write messages to view.

I spend time on my sites where I design and redo.

I make animation that will be funny and pleasing to you.

When errors pop up and wipe out everything.

People for miles around can hear me yell and scream.

I've got a Print Shop Deluxe that I use to excess.

And Word Perfect 10 has been put through a test.

Net Scape, Front Page and Macromedia are used and abused.

I keep MSN and Net World completely confused.

All my finances are kept track of on Quicken Premier.

I do taxes on Turbo Deluxe at the end of the year.

If I want to rest and relax I visit my favorite sites.

Believe it or not that's how I spend most of my nights

Hahaha. I am addicted to the computer. But admitting I have a problem is the first step right? Witty write.

Let's see my dear Ktirish, if you put a laptop on the kitchen table and one on the bathroom sink. Get desktops for your livingroom, den and bedroom, oh and you'll need one in the backyard just in case. You’ll be a happy computer contender! LOL, BDC

Watch out that, that old devil computer doesn’t take over your body, your mind and your soul. He’ll creep into your life when you’re not aware, hiding in encrypted software. He’ll remove your power of thought and replace it with meatballs and spaghetti and take complete control. Screaming when your best poem gets wiped away makes the keyboard and monitors day. LOL, BDC

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
