    Written for a guy that I like, but can't date.

    Confession

     I have a confession to make,
    I'm not who you thought I was,
    I played the role of your best friend,
    Hiding my feelings so that you would not suspect
    That what I felt surpassed our friendship,
    These feelings I have kept in hopes
    That you would understand that...
    I no longer wish to be your friend,
    But your lover.

    I can relate, Might I suggest you read Mine entitled "Friend". It's hard. I've done it most of my life with MOST of my friends.. Better to have a friend then not to have them at all.... But, sometimes it hurts worse this way. Great job! All the best -Marion-

    This poem is very good. But do your self a favor and try to limit words like; "the, that, and etc. In the seventh line you begin and ended the sentence with "that". This is one of the hardest for a poet to overcome.

    I`m not good at judging these types of poem letters.........its written well does`nt have a lot of punch for such a message maybe jazz it up some

    i have a feeling that this is spawned from the same thing as Just A Friend Hmm? at any rate i don't like this one as much as i like the others...it's lacking the flow i've come to know in your work.
