    Confessions XV

    A lonesome dove sits and waits
    A pretty flower that sits in beauty
    Forever it waits
    Forever it sits
    It shall be a living sacrifice
    A talent to the wise
    Lift up your weary heads
    Lift up your angelic faces
    Ye who are hanging their heads down low
    Down in the valley
    The happiness is
    The lows are here
    But the highs remain the same
    Down in the valley
    The miracles are blessings
    The blessings are overflowed with compassion
    Filled with so much joy
    It resonates throughout the land
    The wonder and mystery
    The beauty of that flower
    That lonesome dove sat and watched that pretty flower before making a move

    Beautifully composed in the vein of surrealism; love the way it meanders and turns away then comes back: "That lonesome dove sat and watched that pretty flower before making a move"—Bravo, Poet!

    Hey, "Confession" is from a Catholic Church. I didn't understand, first it's a flower that sits, then the face then the other, finally went back to the flower. I got dizzy =-}

    Confession / confessing, is simply the telling of something, which is not specific to Catholicism.
