    Confound

    Recently
    Something has come to me
    Tragedy
    Must I think so deep

And fall into the depths again
You catch my hand my friend
    So there I hang
In the balance of your eyes
    Tell me angel
Can you catch me every time
Or will you change your mind

    Sweetly
You crush my dreams with a smile
    Regretfully
My defeat will only last for a while

And I fall onto your chest again
    I am just a manikin
    With a synthetic kiss
    So here I stand
In the presence of your lies
    Tell me angel
Can you catch me every time
Or will you just let me...

    Slip away

Nice juxtaposition of realities. Left me wondering the relationship with the manikin(sic).

I can not see how you said this was cheesy, after all we are our own worst critic. Great poem. "10"

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
