    Confusion of Clarity

Seeing blindly in the clear dust,
wondering what may become of us.
    Sinking deeply into shallow thoughts,
remembering the pain I was taught.
On the near side that is so far,
one day looking upon the stars.
The unseen path opens for us to see,
maybe one day what is meant to be.
Slowly running forward to the past,
hoping this one is meant to last.
