    there is alwayys some truth in every poem

    Confusion

     What has happened to me?

    Have I really been set free?

    I feel as though I have.

    My heart has taken flight!

    After blundering through life...

    After living through much strife, 

    I have found something I don't have!


    YOU...


    I probably never will have you.

    But you have brought me to...

    A precipice in my life...

    You have restoreth my soul. 

    You have softened my heart of stone.

    You have released my attitude so foul.

    You have listened to my heart.

     
    I run from you in humiliation...

    I hide from you in embarassment...

    Yet, I cannot stay away

    I can not remain silent.


    For  You...


    My heart is bursting with emotion.

    Please, help me to understand...

    What should I be feeling?

    Please, tell me where I should land?

    Where should this flying heart land?

    So high, like the kite that soars high

    Over the land, out in the open I stand.

    Wearing my heart on my sleeve.

    Well, I'll be damned...

    I am in love.

    Please, take my hand.

    So what do you say?

    Will you stay?

    And, what will I do if you leave?

    I wonder...could this be talking about God? I suppose that's a weird question...though. Just wondering.

    wonderful subject

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
