    Contemplation

    I've patiently waited
    for your attention,
    affection,
    companionship.
    I've deliberatley stood still
    watching you neglect me,
    reject me,
    desert me.
    I've grown weary
    from all the wanting,
    needing,
    realizing.
    I've started becoming bitter
    from your broken promises,
    preoccupation,
    negligence.
    I've endured all I can
    of lonely nights,
    unfulfilled need,
    blatant disregard.
    I've had enough
    of the thoughtlessness,
    loneliness,
    being last.
I've begun to think I should go
    before you resent me,
    I become someone else,
    we hate eachother.
    I've decided to go
so you'll no longer be pressured,
    I'll no longer be disappointed,
    we might remain friends.

The way that you have stacked the words on top of one another reflects upon the flow... and the meaning builds with your full intent to the point that the reader understands the full meaning of your expression. Soul

There comes a time when things much change. Sounds like you're there. Great write - 10 from me

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
