    • I am here, heart in hand, ready to share time and poems ith anyone who will give me the time in their day.

    Conversion

     My world is full of busy things,
    Of noisy children and a little strife.
    But, now and then, there comes a tremor
    That flows and ebbs across my life.

    A blessed crack in the ice of time,
    That permeates through the surface, seeping.
    It soaks into my soul with a determination
    Of a jungle growing outward, creeping.

    A  ray of sunshine on a cloudy day,
    Or a redbird singing in an  old oak tree, 
    A baby's smile from the rumpled sheets,
    All a glimmer of hope that will set me free.

    It frees my mind from a torn world.
    And opens my ears to God's solemn word.
    Opens my heart to His almighty will.
    Letting my soul throw down the sword.

    No more, a fire and brimstone barage,
    But, overthrow with gentle embrace,
    Swaying the wave of harsh demeanor
    With a kiss,  Peace,  shall thee replace.
