    • Not on here often enough, but will try to do better....

    country life
    I awoke this morning to the sounds of birds,
    and that darned woodpecker torturing my mulberry tree.
    A train in the distance, my puppy barking at butterflies
    and something different; A cow bellowing.

    Cow? The nearest cow is half mile away,
    and she always kept to herself.
    A very fat cow; She is retaining water I guess.
    Gotta get a low-sodium salt lick!

    But this morning she sounds irritated
    she will not shut up...
    then it dawns on me....

    OKAY, what smart ass tipped the cow???

    Poor Bessie, such indignation for a lady to suffer!
    What IS this world coming to?

    LMAOOOO! I have had many times when I so wished I had a slingshot for the woodpeckers we have here! Between them and a really irritating night lark every so often, could make a person move in with the cows! Ha Ha Very uplifting. Thank You
