    Never thought
I could be here again this place
    This man, hmmm...
    Invading my soul
    Wantin'...desire uninhibited
    Is this real
    Am I dreamin'
    Does he know...I'm afraid
    The hurt and the pain...boundless
Can I find the courage to love again

    Secretly I desire
    To love
To believe that its within my grasp
To touch, to hold, to share
    God give me the courage
    I so desperately need
    To love this man
To see him only with lovin' eyes
To be free of the past that haunts me
    Denying me the chance
    To experience anew
    The joy, the desire
    That awaits me

    I sit her wonderin'
    Knowin' the time has come
    To let go
    To be fearless and bold
    To embrace the gift
    A wondrous treasure
    That confronts me
    Surrender, my heart cries
    To the splendour
    That signal the dawnin'
    Of a love so sweet
    Please, give me the courage
As i walk into the light of his love
    Courage to love
    To be free...

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
