    Cowboy's Gotta Dream

If I could trade all the dances

    For more rides

All the women I’ve taught how to dance

    For trained horses

    I would

    Trade all the disappointments

    For Buckles

    All the Lost Love

For more time out on the plains

    I would

I’d rather meet a Lady in the saddle

    Or at the stables

    Anywhere but the dance floor

To filter out all the dead ends in my Heart

    Where’s all the good cowgirls

    Sick of city girls

    Of k-mart cowgirls

    And in general girls

    Where’s my Lady

The one I’ve seen over the horizon

    In my dreams

    Country inside and out

    Faith and Morals

    She don’t play games

Mature and straight to the point

    I Love the idea

If only I could find such a Women

    I pray

    I continue to dream

I barley have any Hope left

    Cowboy up

    Take the loneliness

    I tell myself

End the day with a ride

    Just me and my Horse

    Sunset and horizon in tow

Stars and dreams soon to follow

    I Love you JESUS

This is wonderful! It should be a country song. A real country song, not a watered down rock tune. I pray your ever elusive love will find you one day!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
