    Please correct me if I'm wrong
    It doesn't bother me
    I once made it personal
    Was sensitive, you see

    In my mind you were unkind
    So I harbored a grudge
    Upset, disappointed when
    You played the role of judge

    Hated to be criticized
    What were you thinking of?
    Even when your words were harsh
    You did this out of love?

    Do you truly care for me?
    Is that why you correct?
    Though I felt uncomfortable
    You have earned my respect

    I respect your wisdom too
    Your help is to be prized
    You've shown me a kind of love
    That can't be criticized

    I just want to thank you for
    Giving me some direction
    I believe I'd still be lost
    Without any correction

    Not all criticism is
    Destructive or unfair
    Criticized, I realized
    It's all because you care

    Sometimes we need to hear things we may have been blind too. Sometimes it take a caring friend with unconditional love. Good write
