Poem Commentary

So many times I find myself in a quandry of decisions that will eventually lead to other choices and opportunities. This is my attempt to describe that confusion and frustration within.

Crossroads

Crossroads

Again, I find myself at the crossroads.

Each potential path requiring me to dig even deeper

within my spirit to rise above and fulfill the driven purpose.

And though I know that I am capable and willing, I am afraid.

I am reminded of love and truth and honor and the things that brought me to this place.

The things that made me who I am and the things that divide me also.

And still as I stand at the crossroads inching toward destiny, I hesitate.

Wandering if the path I choose will be a journey that will match my set of wits

and tests the skills of others and if anyone else has ever felt this way, alone.

Understanding that it matters not which path is chosen, but only what it brings to me within and what it opens me to bring to the world…

it may not matter which path you chose, be it the road less traveled by or the road not taken, as long as it's not the wayward bend. this write prompts us that noble thoughts do make a difference everytime we encounter crossroads. thank you for sharing. zaph

Ken, so much of these are extremely personal and I am actual going through them right now and so I am honored that you have acquired something from them. ty

Reflexting like a mirror to what one has and one is passing though. Like how you rapped it up at the end to make it yours.

Brings me back to "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost. You portray well the dramatic moment of decision.

I like it when you write like this. I like seeing your thought process, and how you interpret your feelings. I can relate to these thoughts - 10 from me

thank you, I respect your view very much.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
