    i hope you like it and take what you will from it :)

    crows feet

     <>



    my age is creased across my brow
    crushed me into a frown just now
                 and i
    can't hide my feelings
    as i deal with my approaching 50's

    i grimace not for growing older
    rather, in protest of those reporting my demise

    crows haven't come to claim me
    they have just walked around my eyes

    The secret is to lie real still And when the crows light - do the kill. Upon ensuring their demise, Bake yourself some birdie pies... A great write, my friend. Humorous, but thoughtful at the same time.

    You know this is so good :) Feels light and it is amazing to me how VOLUMES were conveyed in the last 4 sentences....like someone else said, it's like the Bruce Lee strike...quick yet powerful... truly enjoyed this :)

    Great write indeed. Life is filled with hidden wisdom it's up to us to find it. Also Crazy how after you're teen years ,time flies When you're in school time was slow. I'm almost 30 . I am appreciative of making it to see this age never thought i would make it .Your poem is a great wake up call to how far we came and still the will to push forward. Crush it's a honor to have met you through this wonderful life of poetry .Royal Love 2 U
