Curse of Solitude

Curse of Solitude

I always wonder to myself.
Why should I bother to save someone if in the end they always end up doing the wrong thing anyways?
Why should I help anyone anymore?
Is there a point to all this?
Why bother?
Why care?
Why anything for that matter?
No matter how many people I help in the end I stand alone and nobody is there to help me.
This is my burden,
My curse,
My Achilles Heel,
and above all a plan that was made for me to follow till my departure of this world.
Even after death I wont be free.
I will be nothing more than a wandering soul that points the way to those who have lost the light.

its hard to put forth the effort to be a good person when there seems to be no reciprication from others... but good people always do good things it is just part of who they are... nicely stated...

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
