    Cut Me Out

     I'm not sure I understand
    I'm not sure I want to
    I'm not sure what I said
    I'm not sure what I did

    I'm a magnet
    I'm the light that attracts all but
    I keep to myself in the aspect of
    And an open window floats in front of me

    I take that chance and it never seems to change
    I just want to be cut out from whatever this is
    It's been taunting me my whole life
    A single step forward is nothing but four more back

    I must be missing something
    A reason? A bet? Or just for fun maybe?
    Whatever the case it's one that needs closing
    I'm not an instrument anyone can just play with

    Cut me out of this equation
    It just causes more problems
    I'm miles away from the solution
    And I'm not sure I'll ever understand
