    Dad

The years pass by so fast now,
Ever since you left us that day.
I shed tears for what you'll miss,
And the memories that we shared.
I pray I could just say goodbye,
And give you one last hug as I wipe my eyes.
I know your somewhere checking in on me,
And hope you see your grandson thats three.
I need you now Dad more then ever,
To help to lead me through lives endefor.
I want to be the best father, lover, and brother.
I guess as long as I try there could be no other.
    I miss you Dad,
You were the best father anyone could of had.

endefor other than that glitch a 10 perhaps my father wasnt concidered the best and it seemes that i might have been the only person who loved him, i was luckey to talk to him before he passed, and luckier enough to say i love you see you monday...that at least one person loved him gives him grace with god, more so does your father have grace, and love that will never weaken or end.. andrew

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
