    Daddy

    The house of pain;
    The house of shame;
    The house of sadness, that I have today;
    For the person that I wish to be here and not delay.

    Why haven't you come for me?
    Am I not what you wanted me to be?
    Did I hast you in coming to see me?
    Why did you leave me that day?

    The house of pain;
    The house of shame;
    The house of sadness, that I have today.
    I pry out a cry for you daddy!

    Clinging to the words mom said about you.
    Wondering if you still or even loved me.
    You despoiled me and bathed me with your barbing attachment of your picture.
    My absolution, not pride, just my faceless mind cries out for you.

    The house of pain;
    The house of shame;
    The house of sadness, that I have today.
    Oh daddy!; don't you love me?

    The days and years pass by, like a butterfly in the sky.
    When everyone is happy on Father's Day, one sits here and cries.
    The day I came looking for you, you ran away.
    Thirteen I was and got to know new relatives.
    They got a daddy, but not me!
    I want my daddy and it's too much and too hard to bare.

    The house of pain;
    The house of shame;
    The house of sadness, that I have today.
    I love you daddy!; even though you might not love me.

    Sometimes I think my life would have been different and happier if I had my dad.
    People don't know what it's like when asked, "Where's your dad"?
    It destroyed my soul.
    Scorned out of life is what I am today.
    Despoiled of a chance that I still wish I could have.
    My behest I still make and will never end.

    The house of pain;
    The house of shame;
    The house of sadness, that I have today.
    Oh, why won't you come look for me!

    I hope you see this.
    I hope you see me.
    I hope you want to see me.
    I hope you love me.
    I hope you won't think that I'm a mistake.
    I hope you won't think that I'm just like mom for whatever reasons you guys had.
    Oh, why daddy do I have to pay for these thoughts in my mind?

    Why did you leave me in such in an abandon way?
    Why did you destroy and rip my heart out?
    Why do you love your other children but not me?
    Why do you see them and not me?
    Oh, why daddy won't you come and look for me?

    this…this is rich in poetry, tears, longing, expression… you "must" send this to him

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

    John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
