    Dance Partner

    She use to

    Get lost in my eyes

    She use to

Hold my hand with a tender touch

    We use to

    Drift off together

    We use to

Catch each other with a whisper

    I use to

    Be able to resist her

    I use to

Look at her like I felt nothing

    But now

    My Heart aches for hers

    She’s all that I Desire

    In the future

    She’ll say good bye

    In the future

    She’ll stop sharing time

    So

    I’ll write once a week

    So

I’ll cry out her name in my sleep

    Great wall of sadness

For I don’t have her interest anymore

    Left with a happy memory

    And nothing more

    -Fin-

thank you very much for reading my work and giving some feed back, iou a reading and rating. Take Care

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
