    Dark Days

    Days of years
    Love and tears
Fear that runs through me, a long electric bolt touches the earth.
    Light flickers through the sky.

    Days of years
    Love and tears
    rejoice and cheer.
Water streak my cheeks red and wet with emotions that shakes me.

    Dark and lonely
    Strong and weak
Fear that runs through me, runs steep.

    Dark and empty
    Lonely and dispare
From the pit of me to the soul that centers me.

    Days of years
    Love and tears

Like a radiant lightning bolt through the heart, this pierces through the bullshit and splays honesty in beautiful fashion. An excellent piece.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
