Dark lair of death

Dark lair of death

Come

you call
me

 never
telling ahead

oozing fungus filth

over growth
lingers in the
darkness

 caught in a death trap

Wow Paint, I have read a few times and I see the coming of filth could possibly be the world. I like the way in which you end caught in a death trap. Short yet powerful. I felt the person being called and when they came they came into the filth and darkness which resulted in being caught in a death trap. Very good Paint! A ten from me. Hugz

Thank you. Many of my poems are out of experience with others. Sometimes it can be a hard way to learn like that. Thanks for your encouragement.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
