    Darkness

I lay here with my eye's close and I see total darkness,
And I am in total darkness I see within the distance,
For what I can not make of it for I can feel,I can smell,
But I can not see for it is it my pream,or is it hell,I smell
burning flesh for I have never smell ,I hear pain, suffering,
I hear screams ,help help, help, it's hot but now fire were I'm,
I for not having a dream, I see two eye's looking at me for who's
eye's are they for which they are cold, full of hatered,
Full of pain, for which these eye's never blink, for it blinks it will
miss and afraid of what he will miss, for all it take's is a blink,
To loose my soul forever,And that is why it will never Happened.

Bfor described this one very well. Like I said before you need to write more, or at least post more if you got 'em. I am intrigued. Oh Snap! haha -Spence

this poem is very dark. very surreal. its like being trapped in a box with all these sounds on the outside. and the box just filling to the brim with emotion. great job

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
