Day After Death

Day After Death

I bet no one would guess the things she wrote
like last night, her suicide note

She keeps to herself, they couldn't see the signs
they couldn't tell she was slipping away

And all will wonder about this "shocking" news
if all had listened she might still be walking on earth

She is dead now, she will not be missed
they will forget she ever existed

They will look back on her final days
and try to remember her sorrow daze

She won't go new places, grow old, be loved
she will rot away, grow mold, and decay

Her last laughs will float away

A grave stone engraved with her name
placed among the thousands, they're all the same

Her writings will someday be found
along with the sound of all her pain

This is where the poem will end
what's the point, she's dead, there's no point to extend

Sad but that is life love this poem it is deep and I love the words you used to express how everyone wouldn't care about her .We all go through days like this or feel like this but we must remember pain is only temporary. I encourage you wo keep writing Love DA KING

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
