Day

Good Morning Day,

How are you doing today, what are your plans for the next twenty-four? Can you give me a revelation for what I have in store? Please don’t tell me that you will be like yesterday, full of sorrow and hopelessness. Let’s leave that in the past and wish for the best. Even though the pain and aching still carry on with me today, I hold it in the back of my mind so I won’t make the same mistakes on this day.

I woke up this morning full of optimism and faith. Do you see how much I change Day, I look for you and hope you guide me in the best way. Can we make some process for a better tomorrow? You know I’m so anxious for my future days without the sorrow. Understand that I’m being patient but I need some explanations.

When I walk out my door today, what will happen Day?

Will I meet someone that can make my life change in a good way?

When the night comes, will the light still shine within me?

Can you explain all these questions that I need answered for me?

Tell me Day, what will happen with this time that we share. I know I can answer my own questions with my actions. But I rather have you there. So I know when to walk with caution. Will I smile today or cry tears of confusion? I know you can’t stand my questions. But sometimes I feel weak with my Pisces intuition.

I can’t predict what today have in store for me Day, the only person that knows that is you. So I will put my life in your hands and hope that the events of today will be true. No false pretences or unrealistic dreaming. I know that things happen for a reason for every day and every season. So here we go Day, let’s see what’s waiting for us. Me and you together, for today and forever…

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
