    Dear Father

Dear father, there are some things that I must tell you. First off... thank you for the new bike when I was 12. I know it wasn't "new", but it was to me. I also know you worked overtime to make it possible. All you asked in return... was my smile. Thank you for the new pants that I had to have after I ripped my other pair. I know it was an unexpected exspense, but thank you. And for lending me the car so I could take my girlfriend out.... thank you. Funny how it had a full tank of gas for me. Thank you for listening to my dreams... never laughing at them... or telling me they were silly or dumb. You've been my friend, my hero, my mentor, my father. As you grow older, I still see the strength and honor you've always had. I hope I can live up to your expectations. I hope I can be the same to my children that you have been to me.I will always look up to you. Thank you for being my father.

Through your words, I see a kind, gentle and good-tempered father. That makes me think about my own father. Fathers in the world is so great ,never less than mothers. You are such a good son to your father. I see a good son too! Come on

What a wonderful tribute to your father. I have a feeling you have lived up to all of his expectations and then some.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
