    • YEAH! Just found out I'm going to have a baby! Well, technically my wife will, but I'll be there to make inappropriate jokes!

    Dear Mr. Bush

The veil over your eyes could be the noose around mine
but you're too blind to see the lies or read the signs
behind the smiles, campaigns of bribery and crime
it's the end of times, you stupid sheep have elected the anti-christ
I'M STILL SCREAMING, YOU'RE STILL NOT
BLEED THE TREASON YOUR VOTE HAS WROUGHT
I'M STILL WEEPING, it's all for naught
BLEED THE TREASON, YOUR SOUL WAS BOUGHT
    I won't wish, I won't pray or be brave
I watch from the sidelines and spit on your graves
You condemned yourselves you pathetic, foolish slaves
look to your god, not to I when you wish to be saved
I TOLD YOU SO, is all I can say
I KNOW YOU KNOW, it's useless to pray
I TOLD YOU SO, laughing in your face
the president's a war criminal, AND SHOULD BE HANGED
MY BRAIN'S STILL THINKING, YOUR IGNITION NEVER CAUGHT
YOU'RE THE REASON! OUR WORLD IS NOT
MY HEART'S STILL BEATING, YOURS HAS STOPPED
THE MIDDLE EAST WAS AMERICA'S PANDORA'S BOX
    STOP THE MADNESS
    STOP THE LIES
    SHUT YOUR MOUTH'S
    AND OPEN YOUR EYES

    That's Viet Nam, not Vite.

Never believe in anyone but yourself. I was drafted at the height of the Vite Nam war, so I know the confusion, and only you can clear it. Meditate in Stillness and Silence, the answers are there in subconscious mind.

I absolutely LOVE this piece! VERY well written and so much energy drawn from it as i read...Show us more!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
