    Death Waits For Us All

    Death waits for us all,

    Round every corner, behind every door.

    The spark of life that once shone brighter than any star

    Gradually dims, like the colours in a old painting

    Long-ago forgotten.

     

    Death waits for us all,

    Welcoming us into his bony arms with empty eyes;

    Ready to lead us into a great mystery which man so longs to know

    Yet fears, like the shadow monsters of childhood.

     

    Death waits for us all,

    But who this time?

    Your time has come.

    He waits for you.

    this is right up my alley and i love it. i especially love, i actually made a noise when i read, "....like the shadow monsters of childhood." that is so visual and palpable. good show ! 10
