    DEATH

                                                          VANESSA

    VANESSA WAS MY LITTLE GIRL
TO ME SHE MEANT THE WORLD
SHE ONLY LIVE ABOUT 3 MONTH OLD
    GOD REST HER SOUL
SHE WAS A BEAUTIFUL JOY OF LIFE
SHE WAS ALWAY HAPPY THAT NICE
SHE WAS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE YOU KNOW
BUT I HAD TO LET HER GO
SOMETIME I THINK ON HER WITH A SMILE
IT GIVE ME JOY FOR A WHILE
SOMETIME I THINK ON HER AND ARE SAD
TO THINK OF THAT LIFE SHE NEVER HAD
MY OTHER CHILDREN MEAN THE WORLD TO ME
THEY ARE GROWN NOW YOU SEE
    THIS WAS 26 YEAR AGO
HER BEAUTIFUL FACE I'LL SEE NO MORE
BUT SHE IS IN MY HEART
YES SHE WILL NEVER EVER DEPART
I LOVE YOU VANESSA AND I UDERSTAND
THAT YOUR LIFE WAS IN GOD HAND
AND I KNOW HE DID WHAT WAS RIGHT
ALL I CAN SAY IS GOODNIGHT

This is so sad, but it's very good. I'm eternally sorry for your loss. That's really too bad. But I'm sure that there was a reason for everything. And I'm sure she went to heaven. :)

clift, this has litterally got me choked up. i usually can say at least something no matter how sad a poem is. but this, it just hits so hard and I do not know why. but it does. and your right, God knew what he was doing, and you 'll see her again someday. still doesnt take away the pain, but remember that you will. *hugs clift* it takes a lot to write a poem like this and you did a wonderful job!
