    Poem Commentary

    The first poem to try to in some way explain why i am better writing what i feel as opposed to saying what i feel.

    Deep Within

     I was told that I have alot of deep emotions but I dont know how to show them,
    I dont to be honest, but I want to Show them, oh i do,
    Ahh but that is where i was not taught, what i never really knew,
    Especially when it comes to the women i desire,
    A true gift to women locked up inside myself without retire,

    Yearning to get out, but deep within, not knowing how to become and stay, free,
    My feelings come out like the ugly duckling or like happy feet, awkward without the true intent for anyone to see,
    And it doesnt matter if i am calm as the ocean, or wrought with thought,
    The true intent is given, but never felt, or sought,

    So where is my help? Who can hear me? Feel me? See my pain?
    Only one is worthy, faithful in the sunshine and the rain,
    Only one is worthy to see the depths of myself and show the real me to the perfection,
    Stronger than steel, my true reflection,
    My extenson, my right hand,
    The only one who can understand,
    I am proud to say that deep within there is only one,
    Whether tired, lazy, bored or full of fun,

    That sees me and expresses me in ways words spoken just cannot,
    THE PEN, not mechanical, not a robot,
    Take a bow, take your place, its your time to shine,
    You show people who i am through and through down the line,
    Through you a woman will know i love her, like her, want something from or with her,
    Through you i can, will go further,

    And your helpmate, left hand, he too, is KING OF KINGS,
    For he is your guide that brings,
    Such words as those you see here today,
    As i sit and write about me, here at Cal State LA,
    Yes deep within this is who i really am, this is how those deep, deep feelings are expressed,
    Full of power and strength the pen uplifts me, no longer depressed,

    Gives me the courage to write what you see so that a woman, women ,can learn,
    My actions written speak louder than my words spoken ever will heard, but often tossed, burned,
    Im a jokster, a kid at heart on the surface, but full of emotion quiety hidden, stirring, churning, fiillng to the brim ready to burst, burn,
    For so long these feelings have stayed docile, quiet but always, yearn,
    To come forth from deep within,
    And out to sprout forth my life, the begin.

    dude it was great i feel like it was me which of course ive been there 2 and ur description" Im a jokster, a kid at heart on the surface, but full of emotion quiety hidden" would explain almost completely. great job 10/10 from me

    King this write was great....."And your helpmate, left hand, he too, is KING OF KINGS," yes the lord can and will lead you on your way to where you need to be......... I felt your pain I felt your distress..... He is on His way to lead you to her and her to you... but nothing happens in the blinking of an eye..... red

    lol, well i see your point in regard to the left hand phrase, but i was literally talking about my left hand. i write left handed and so was showing love and appreciation to it symbolically so 2 speak. thank you for seeing where i am coming from though. :)
