    Defining Myself

     


    If I don't have the courage

    To stand on what You said

    Even when I know it's the truth,

    That makes me a coward...


    If I find my safety in my

    Job status, Car I drive, House

    I live in etc. then my security 

    Is not in God!

    That makes me worldly...


    If I rely on people's good advice

    Rather than obeying the dreams

    And visions God has already put

    Inside of me-I am only hurting myself,

    That makes me hard-hearted


    If I don't have the faith

    To completely let God handle

    All my situations, worries and fears,

    Then I don't truly trust Him,

    That makes me an unbeliever


    Lord, As I re-arrange this self,

    Please turn me into someone else...

    Someone more like You in 

    Every way, shape and form

    That makes me Your child.
