    • I've been gone for quit some time but I'm back and ready to write more poetry.

    Delusions

     He's off his meds again,
    what can i do to help
    i wounder what delusion he is having today.

    He always thinks that some1 is out
    to get him, his delusions are getting worse.
    I heard on the news tonight
    they are looking for a man
    the discription fits him,
    he has lost his mind he isnt a monster,
    but the picture the news paints
    is one of an evil man.

    Who could do that anyones little girl
    he took her into the woods
    he thought he was saving her
    but................................
    it was him that hurt her.
    In his delusions he was her hero
    her saving grace he just wanted her...........
    to be safe.

    They found him tonight
    he had another girl he was trying to save
    but in his terror he hurt her too,
    they locked him in a cage
    they gave him meds
    he got his mind back
    he began to remember
    how could he have done all of that,
    he begs them.....................
    PLEASE JUST KILL ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    everyday that passes i get better
    as i get better i remeber my delusions
    and thats something i cant live with
    I hurt little girls i hurt them bad
    please just let me go.

    The nice lady came by to see him
    he begs and begs
    PLEASE JUST KILL ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    i cant live with this on my mind
    the nice lady looks at him and says,
    maybe someday you can foregive yourself
    and relize this wasnt your fault,
    it was your delusions that made you this way.

    Wow, true story or not, the reality of what you have done when not in your right mind can be horrifying. Interesting write.
