    Desire

    Desire

Scent on skin first sends a wave

Falling up, spilling into your cave

    Blissful kiss and heated breath

    Aromatic pulse pulls me underneath

    Anchored passions lie in wait

Leave go a flood with raucous bait

    Vibrations flutter on the spine

    Gushing little deaths sublime

Thanks, King. Glad you liked this simple one. It has all the vibrant qualities, but in a short dose. I like short poems with lots of energy.

Very well written. Very passionate and the desire is so well known through your symbolism. :-)

gushing little deaths sublime. LOVE THAT LINE. this would be rated R if poems had a rating system like movies. but not a raunchy R, a romantic R. goodwork

Thanks, yes, especially in days past when people really got offended by something like that. Nowadays it's tame! But thanks for reading it and commenting on it. ;-)

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
