    Destination: Nowhere

    I can’t love someone

    Who doesn’t love me back.

    Why stay on a train

    If it’s running out of track?

     

    I can’t take the lead

    If I don’t know where we’re going.

    Why nurture a seed

    If you don’t know what you’re growing?

     

    I can’t act out a movie scene

    If I don’t know my role.

    While you may break my heart,

    You can’t touch my soul.

    I really enjoyed this one. It's never easy when the one you love doesn't love you. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders. Keep your eyes and heart open and I think you will find the love you are looking for.

    Love doesn't always go two ways. if it did i would have to give up writing. love with all of your heart anyway, if they don't like, it's their loss. Stay on track, there are a lot of hobos on the rocks. they only need a kind hand and maybe a bandaid for bruised egos and knees

    Wow, how true. how profound. I get the same from humans I minister to coming up from gangland and such. and I find the persecution almost intolerable.     a beautiful climax, you make us wait for the last line. "While you may break my heart, you can't touch my soul. " Yes we all need to have an inner strength which can stand the storms through which we invariably have to pass. thank you. 10 from me.
