Devious Minds

Some people need to stop and think;
About how they act and how they speak.
When you’re busy laughing and making fun of someone that you perceive as weak.
Whether it is mentally or physically – you really should stop and think

You never know what is on another’s mind.
If you could take a peek in you might be frightened by what you’d find.
You may see them as weak and continue to push your luck just for fun.
They may spend their time thinking of ways to kill you when the day is done.

Yeah – Girls I think you better stop and maybe even listen.
You are in prison –
You are surrounded by thieves, thugs, murderers and every kind of crook.
Some people who are criminally insane and some who are just totally insane.
Quiet a few of them know they’ll never live outside these wall again.

So keep on telling your jokes.
Give her another shove.
What can it hurt?
Not much worse than a shank shoved down your throat!

For this is true to a point..... People find me weak on the outside.... But on the inside and in my mind I am strong with Jesus so I don't lash out on their laughs and jokes about me... cause the joke is really on them and Jesus is the one who played it.... For being a female impersonator is the best job I have ever had ... well that and a fashion model for womans clothing...... red

You, my dear, are in touch! I found your words and rhythm in perfect sync. Well done, very well done.

They say passive agression is something that is truely underestimated and reading this poem pictures it to a tee. Well done Robert...

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
