    Disease

    I took one step too many in the wrong
    direction
    I noticed my mistake, stepped back into a different
    dimension
    In this world time stops for no one,
    not even the ones who are someone in the midst of anyone
    Not even me.
    I guess I rode in on the boat of self righteousness
    and got burned in its degree
    I thought that I had found a cure for what was
    dying inside
    But I now know that this medicine was
    not the remedy I needed
    to keep me alive.
    I found a color for each day of the week to
    fit each emotion growing.
    I guess Ill bow my head in wonder,
    never really knowing
