Dissolution Of
You said you wanted to clear your head
So you built a raft, set sail, and signed goodbye to all personal hells
Saltwater gleams at the sight of your loss
It makes all of us thirsty; it makes all of us hot
And when what you left for is choking your face red
It will be the reason why you'll try and find love again
If you run, I will hide
But I’ll only be hiding, hiding for some time
For when you come back, I won’t be late
I’ll be there in time, the time that you create
Like a child you can’t face the monsters in your closet,
Or the space that you create
And if it’s time that you wanted to fight what you can’t ignore
You can’t just sign papers that mean you won’t love me anymore
If you run, I will hide
But I’ll only be hiding, hiding for some time
For when you come back, I won’t be late
I’ll be there in time, the time that you create
Is where we met as important as where we said;
Words to each other that we won’t regret?
And as time rolls on by, the years will drape our eyes
But the only thing that you’ll live for is for a chance that already died
