    Distress

What is living when you are tired of life?
Is there something out there that make it all right?
It's just day to day wondering what am I doing
Instead of life it is death I'm pursuing.
Having lost all sense of joy and pride
I look at my life from deep down inside.
There is no reason to laugh or even to smile
and now I'm prepared to walk my very last mile.

Bullseye! exactly how I may feel sometime.I like how your poetry make simple words go straight to our inner senses.

Great meter and rhythm. Interesting viewpoint of how it feels when we get tired of the day to day. A definite 10

Quite true, the pulse of corroding time does cause us to be caught in a cycle of utter distress, worthy piece

OH MY GOD ! who rated that a 1 ! its a 10 all the way great poem man!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
