Diversity: A Gift from God

Racism is a disease
that rots away the fresh soil
that plants love deep into our souls.

Racism is ugly
When it rears its ugly head
Love should be there instead.

Love is unique
Because we all are
Let us not buy into the evil star

Because there is a part that shines in us all
And God put it there and pray that we are transformed
by the magic of love
so much we can do, plant a tree for difference and water it with you.

So, we look different in shades and color
Maybe, we are not like one another
But that is the beauty
When diversity is in place
It is filled with God's presence and He gave by grace.

So when you meet a new friend
 Who may be different than you.
Thank God above
for sending Him to you.

We can learn so much
 About culture not our own and that is the beauty of learning about the unknown.

 We think we know by what we have heard but never believe someone else's word.  

Wrap yourself in their array of beauty and you will find that you have so much in common.  

We are all colors of the sky like a rainbow after rain, and what a beauty to miss a chance to see how much we are the same.
