Divine Dichotomy

Divine Dichotomy

What is light w/out the dark? What’s a soul w/out a heart?
What is truth w/out the lies? What are hello’s w/no goodbyes?
What is up w/out the down? What are smiles w/no frowns?
What is peace w/out a war? What is less w/out more?

What is white w/out black? What is thin w/out the fat?
What is right w/out the wrong? What’s a singer w/no song?
What is life w/out death? What is everyone w/out the self?
What is sweet w/out the sour? What is time w/out hours?

What is good w/out the bad? What is happy w/out the sad?
What is blessed w/out the cursed? What is better w/out worse?

Can’t U see reality is what we chose it to be.
It’s relativity, this dichotomy is our destiny.
If you look a bit closer I am sure you’ll discover
That you can’t have one without the other

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
